Give all available trophies to saints for the next decade, they look unstoppable.

On the plus side, the relegation battle looks unpredictable.

Yawn!!

Your St Helens obsession in un-healthy.

The 'entertainers' are most probably the best team in the world at present, by this i mean they could win any NRL team in a one off game.

But there will be slip ups along the way.

lol.

Maybe if the one off game was played in the home advantaged nature of the WCC.

With Sean Long at 7, I don't think so. Newcastle could beat them and so could the Cowboys. But unless injuries hit, Saints will easily win Super League, that's for sure.

Saints are not unbeatable. Huddersfield lost by only 2 points and blew a good opportunity to score late on.

If Saints are the best time in ESL, the signficant question is: what does that say about the general standard of the competition.

It means that the competition is getting stronger, which shows with Salfords early form.

It's OK saying Huddersfield nearlly won, the fact is they never!!

Even when we played so poorly and away from home, they still failed to get the two points.

You just contradicted yourself. You say the competition is getting stronger, yet you say a team can go away from home, play very poorly, and still win.

I think we were seeing just the normal changes there have always been in RL. Over time, some teams get their act together and others begin to lose it. The overall standard - however you want to defiine it - remains about the same.

Saints roll into Hull this coming Friday for there annual KC beating.
Hull seem to always do OK hosting St Helens...

Winning the trophy really comes down to peaking at the right time - in the four weeks of the play-offs. St Helens could even go all year undefeated, and still collapse at the end if that's when they strike their run of injuries or worst form etc.

First goal - make it to the play-offs in the highest position your team can.
Second goal - have your best four weeks of the season in the play-offs.
I'm not convinced St Helens are guaranteed to achieve that second goal.

And there's only been two teams this year who in my opinion haven't yet shown that they've got what it takes to be a chance of getting a surprise result or two if they make it that far...

Just wondering what you won last year? Oh thats right jack all. Dont go mouthing off until you actually win something. St Helens are a overrated side just like the Saints we have here.
