We need a halfback

Why is it that we can see it?

Why is it that all of us are frustrated by it?

Why is nothing done to solve this issue?

Morris is not a good fit for the Tigers.

Benji is not a halfback.

We need a dominant number 7.

Behind the forward pack we have at present a quality number 7 would absolutely run riot and therefore make room for Benji, Lawrence and co to go berserk.

Somebody please tell Sheens, chuck in Dunley, chuck in Lewis because if you don't we are all gonna die of frustration.

We are like a formula one car, tuned up and ready to fire, but because we have a single part missing, our stats are like Mark Webber and not Michael Schumacher.

That is Bubbles rant.

And f**k it while im at it... a new f**ken ceo... Someone with some balls who is gonna stand up and demand answers... I recall his initial letter to fans... we are close to signing the 25th position in the squad... since then we have failed to sign one, and lost a player due to some clown who cant keep to budget

We made a big mistake resigning Marshall all together.
He tries to be too flashy and he f**ks up, countless times he's passed the ball to the ground and totally f**ked up. On his salary we could've easily secured a quality half-back.

You guys are kidding. Marshall wasn't great last night but fair dinkum, Joey Johns wouldn't have been able to orchestrate a victory. Our pack was DOMINATED. We dropped too much ball. We gave away too many penalties. Our defence was abysmal. Some of the effort (Beau Ryan, I'm looking at you) was pathetic.

You must be referring to that ONE play that led to the Payne try. Other than that, I saw Ryan making prop's hitups all game, sometimes two per set. When Gibbs and Galloway were wandering around sucking in the big ones, you had Beau Ryan doing their work.

Turn it up mate. Every winger every week gets into dummy half and returns the ball after a kick. Doesn't mean he has a good work-rate. And yes that "one" play was atrocious. He's being paid to play and as far as I'm concerned, he robbed us last night.

As for Gibbs and Galloway - I won't blame them. I'll blame the guy who selected two utilities and two underdone backrowers on the bench, then only played two of those reserves for the last 15-20 minutes, in hot humid conditions after a 5 day turn-around.

According to NRL.com

Beau Ryan's stats from last night.

All Run Metres - 114 (second for the team)
All Runs - 16 (most in team)
Dummy Half Runs - 6 (most in team)
Hit Ups - 4
Errors - 0 (but that doesn't count the blunder that lead to Payne's try)
Tackles - 5
Ineffective Tackles - 0
Missed Tackles - 2

Now let's compare our other winger

All Run Metres - 94
All Runs - 12
Dummy Half Runs - 1
Hit Ups - 4
Errors - 1
Tackles - 6
Ineffective Tackles - 1
Missed Tackles - 1

Now I'm not suggesting anyone is tooting Tuiaki's horn but all these stats suggest that Ryan actually had more commitment and got through more work than Tuiaki. So why this rage against Ryan? One blunder? Everyone in the team made errors last night. Beau Ryan made one critical one and everyone misreads things at times. He must have thought he had more time to get to the ball before Payne got there. Other than that, he seemed like one of the only players that was actually trying to lay a platform for the ballplayers. I'd almost go so far as to say I thought he was the Tiger's best aside from that one play.

I'm not targeting you in particular, in other threads I've seen other users dissing Ryan similarly.

Spot on.

I think after the 50th minute, we had only had 2 tackles in the opposition half. The reason? We kept dropping the bloody ball everytime we got close.

I agree with everything except Beau Ryan's effort. Considering he made the most effort out of everyone in damn team you can hardly blame him for only having the energy to jog to the ball.

Marshall was attrocious. I don't think he threw one pass that hit the reciever on the chest, and I can think of 4 or 5 that went along the ground.
