I was hoping Gaz would be back this weekend to get a run before the finals. Hopefully he might get a premier league game when we have the bye!
Gaz can be the difference from whether our attack is on song in the finals or whether we dominate possesion, yet can't put teams away (i.e Warriors game). With a fully fit Gaz (not to mention Rylsey and Bailey) I fancy us to be very hard to stop in the finals no matter who we play, but being injury free is the key to this hope!
with Carlaw and no Bailey, we still stand a good chance, provided things go our way in the finals and we turn up to play, but with a full compliment I don't think there is a team that can stop us on our day. Having Gaz is imperative, he's an absolute game breaker!
I'm still worried about Manly this weekend, failure to beat them (as we should) could mean we drop to 6th, so it's massive, but also a massive danger game!. A win and a slip up by Penrith in their last two games gives us a home semi, and with the likes of Gaz back, that home semi could set us up for an unstoppable run!
