We should re-sign the following

Dean Widders
Feleti Mateo
Ben Smith
Brett Anderson
Jack Afamasaga
Eric Grothe
Craig Stapleton
Wade McKinnon
Josh Cordoba

I mean these guys are inspirational to the club, theyve shown potential and deserve to stay at the club. And guys like Mateo, Smith and Cordoba, who havent played first grade yet should be brought through the ranks, instead of wasting our money on reggie rejects.

Add Tim Smith to that list.

...and possibly Junior Langi depending on whether we can find a replacement for Lyon (Tate/Cross/Monaghan).

I think you will find that Widders has been re-signed. Afamasaga has had the option for next year taken up on his contract and is in discussions for an upgrade as well. The young blokes - Cordoba Mateo and Anderson were re-signed last year I think as was Ben Smith (don't quote me though)

McKinnon, Stapleton and Grothe would be the most important issues there.

Yeah Ive been impressed with Langi the last few games for Parramatta, he's really taken on the line well in attack and is good to draw 2-3 defenders, just a question on his defence. Hope he keeps it up.

As for Dean Widders, I hope you're right. [-o<

Are there any more up and coming juniors, coming through the ranks?

Colonel what have you heard Re: Widders??

I hope you are right but this is the first I have heard regarding pen to paper, but then again I think he did the same thing last year where he had signed for the year but did not announce until a week or 2 after June 30!!

All I have heard is that Deano agreed to terms for a further two years on the back of his good form.

The club will probably announce the re-signed players all in one big hit like they did last year. It's possible that Widders, McKinnon, Grothe, Stape's etc have already put pen to paper but it just hasn't been announced yet. Can't see us letting any of the players mentioned above being let go. Could be the first year in a long time that the talent leaving the club is not greater than the talent joining. Let's hope so...

I think you're probably right Parraren, they'll announce re-signings in one go, like several other clubs have done. Just gotta wait for it I think.

There was a story in one of the parra papers last week that we were moving to take up options on Jack A's contract.
