if the island nations had a anzac weekend test and a proper end of season program...and players where able to origin & for a island nation....then MAYBE lots of players would choose that option...

but we'll never know cos the ARLC are terrified.....and theres no "maybes" about that lol

He chose NZ not Australia though so the ARLC aren't behind that decision. Just a proper end of season program is enough to actually get International footy going again. That and a 1 nation for life will get the emerging talent to the islands before NZ or Aust can get them.

The ARLC being scared doesn't stop the international competition. Just maybe lower the island talent pool though that will change as the tests get stronger
