Weakness if any?

Yeah baby finally a Ruthless performance and congrats to Sims and his wipeout of the Titans center.
So what are our weaknesses?
They sure look happy

Right Wing, Patience and Bench Rotation to me are our biggest weaknesses ... not to say we are not travelling well.

You take a win like that and forget about it .. There are minimal lessons to learn from throwing a kitten off a cliff.

Was good to give key players long breaks today ie starting props, jack, cam ... We saw that Mann plays a 7/13 type role from the bench allowing Hunt to 9 if McInness is off. Worked nicely today.

Widdop in games one and two took some poor (impatient) options but today it wasn't an issue. Decent pass/kick decisions.

Nightingale will be exploited before the season is out by better teams.

I am loving that Nene is doing so well though and we saw glimpses of what Sele/Luc can do from the bench.

Injuries/Complacency are our biggest weaknesses though.

I think nightys pace is a worry, I would like a bit more X factor out wide and my biggest fear is that hunt gets an origin call up that’s when things could get de railed but they look confident and happy so onwards and upwards

I still see Aitken and Nightingale as weaknesses. McDonald's game has improved this year, could that have something to do with not playing outside of Aitken? I think now would be the perfect time to blood Lomax at right centre and Matherson as the right winger, but I know that Mary isn't going to be dropping anyone in the near future. It is much easier for young players to enter first grade when they are playing in a team with a strong forward pack, like we now have and when the team has a very good pair of halves and we certainly have that now too. Roach said that he thinks Aitken could be a rep player in the future, so he is getting wraps left right and centre, but I doubt that those giving him the wraps have watched him that closely. Do not take it that I am bashing Aitken. I can't see him losing his place in the team this year, unless he gets injured. He played his 2 best games that he has played in first grade in round's one and two.

Dufty has to improve under the high ball. I hope that he does so. I would like to see Dufty combine better with our centres, but that may have something to do with our centres.

I am still not convinced that Lafai should be a long term option either.

I still think that we need one more good prop, Pangai would be my target.

Other than that, I don't see any weaknesses. I do see a lot of strengths.

Nightingale..... How on earth can we score 54 points and our winger not involved in any.

We attacked left? This is why Nene didn't really score many last season too.

The thing that made me LOL is on the play where Dufty passed to nighty and he dropped it the commentators said it would be better going through the hands instead of the cutout.

Yeah right .. through the hands when the options are frizell/Aitken before hitting nightingale?

Matherson Johns isn’t signed to Dragons, and if he was he’d be behind Mann, Lomax and Herbert for a spot. Probably Garrick too, although that’s somewhat undeserved.

I, too, would like to see Dufty combine with our centres. He still seems to get the ball and angle straight across field - not crabbing, but cramps the wingers a bit. Came off well the first time when he scored, but as defences tighten throughout the season and teams wake up to the act, he needs to straighten up and use his ballplaying.

We do have one spot left in our top 30 squad, so that leaves a door open for Matherson Johns if he is good enough. I am not saying that he should be in the team, but if his form warrants, then I would like to see him given a run on the wing.

Complacency as well as injury are the main weaknesses. Having Graham & Hunt should go along way towards rectifying the complacency. Injuries can’t be avoided. I also hope L plate doesn’t get to fancy or negative with his selections & use of the bench.

Representative mid season will be our weakness. Graham and Widdop off to the USA to play some friggin test against NZ.
Origin period will see us probably lose Fritz, Hunt, JDB, Vaughan
This period will test us to the Max & how our backups handle the step up to fill the void.
Just hope we accumulate enough points before the slippery slide period hits.

Dummy half passing to forwards and Right wing are the main one's.
Dufty a little suspect under high ball still but will hopefully improve and geez, he makes up for it in attack.
