Some random thoughts on this week
- I am stunned that the skins blew that game. They should have dropped a hammer there, Cousins has these type of games in him though. That was PRIMED for a greeeeasy back door cover until he threw that pick.
- David Johnson is the **** business. I mean honestly, he's **** incredible.
- Really impressed by that Baltimore win, though i think it probably says more about the fabric of this Dolphins team than it does the Ravens. But if Flacco can get hot, this defence can make a little hay in the play offs IF they get there
- The Giants **** the bed DID NOT shock me, this is a fraudulent team. They play solid enough defence but the McAdoo offence is taking a hit. Given the talent on that side of the ball, its a bad sign they dont walk up and down the field on a unit like PIT. I think PIT could easily win the SB. This is a powerful offence and turn over prone D on their day
- KC @ ATL was **** WILD! I picked KC as my upset of the week and it delivered. Im surprisingly good at those, going at a clip of about 65% on the season. TASTY. Andy Reid has his problems but he's a hellova a coach. 17 from their last 20 i believe. Interesting wildcard team given the Pats just lost Gronk
- I saw a grand total of 34 seconds of the SF-CHI game, it was 34 seconds too much.
- I gave up on the Philly season a few weeks ago, very frustrating but this display was very ordinary. Defence played poorly, the corners were comfortably out played by a WR group without AJ, Wentz had his worst game as a pro and our best skill position players were Paul Turner (WR we promoted from PS 10 days ago), Wendall Smallwood (5th round RB), Trey Burton (Career STs TE). Bah!
- speaking earlier of fraudulent teams, this texans team is exactly that. **** them. GB arent a team i want to run into in the play offs if they get there. Rodgers is rounding into some form
- DEN v JAX was a **** show, and Bortles might be playing his way onto the street. He's awful. Von Miller however might be good enough to help give Denver a faint whiff of repeating.
- Jeff Fisher got an extension! An extension! **** me dead. **** the rams and all they hold dear. The Pats keep rolling, nothing to see here
- Detroit really gave me something to think about today, their corners played extremely well, and Glover Quin is quietly having an outstanding season helping them wipe out some back end errors. They dominated this game and never gave the Saints a shot. Good for them. Jim Bob Cooter might be a HC next year and i think that's a good thing.
- Raiders keep finding a way to win games. In a BIG hole today, down 24-7 at one stage i think and then rallied to not only win, but blow the **** doors off the Bills. Another team who might like their chances a little bit more now that Gronk is on IR
- Dont look now but Tampa are right in the thick of the play off race. In fact they now control their own destiny. Interesting to see how this season plays out. Big Dick Rivers is a boss, i love him but that same mentality that wins him games he has no right to win, loses him games he has no right to lose. ICYMI, today was the 2nd one.
- I've been saying it for weeks and the TB game last week didnt deter me what so ever. Seattle is COMING, again. The Earl Thomas injury is **** huge though, that leaves a gigantic void in their middle, and no one in the league can play the role he can in that D. Tough break but with Lockett coming alive, Rawls looking all the way, Rusty running again... good luck to anyone wanting to bet against them
