Enough bullshit its gameday.

Praying for zero major injuries. Weather looks perfect no rain.
I am only really interested in Luron Patea. None of the other reserves are a realistic chance (other than injuries) of making the side. He has a point of difference we need, even if only 5-10 minutes to wrestle momentum back if it has been lost.

Spencer did it and then we relied on Fish and Moses to get it back, but obviously Fish has moved on. I am really keen he could step into this role. We can't rely on Moses all the time, that is unfair to him.

I'm Baaaaaack for the 2026 season. Starting to feel slightly human since my surgery back in September. To be honest, it was NASTY.

Relieved to see that big ol Lindsay signed back on. I think probably he was seen as the better option rather than Smiley (Liam Henry) for a new deal.

Also pleased to see Cogger back too. He was a great 2nd string to Nathan a couple of years ago.

Also Kurt Falls is back, is that correct. It's frankly amazing how many blokes like this return to the fold.

I hope we play well tonight.

Luron has a big year ahead.

Also thinking about that extra bench spot. I'd prefer someone who can cover 9. I'd like to think the days of Cogger in the 9 are over with more bench spots available. He is in the halves or nowhere.

That would be Going/Lussick/Scott.

After the amount of misses in the forward pack we just released at the end of last year from the cup side i really hope one or two of the young forwards from the next crop can put some pressure of some of the bench spots this season. Not saying they should be locking down bench spots but we should have one or two playing well enough in cup to make Ivan think about it. A couple of them are 21 even 22, they arent all teens
