Welcoming the Roos

Wouldn't it be great to welcome the Roos back from the UK at the airport.

I'll e-mail the NRL and see when their flight is. Any interested party can then be there wearing their Green & Gold. The team should be aware people do care and it will shock the media!!

I was thinking about this also, but wasn't sure of the best way to contact the NRL or ARL to get the details. I was also trying to find a way of sending a message of support to the Kangaroos via e-mail or fax.

I remember doing this back in 94 (for the last REAL Ashes campaign). I think you'll find that at a connecting airport, like Singapore, they all split up. Only Broncos players came into Brisbane and Sydney players arrived, funnily enough, in Sydney. I don't think you'll get the whole team, but I'd be interested to see when the boys get into Brisbane.

Well, I'm now based back in Brisvegas, and am waiting for a reply by the NRL. (it seems everything is done thru the NRL as the ARL have no website). So, it would be great for Brissie based league supporters to welcome the QLD connection atleast. People in Sydney can doo the same for NSW.

Hopefully, I'll post details soon. In the mean time, others can also find details of arrivals, and so.

p.s wear your colours. I have a spare Roos jersey for someone needing it at airport. Just hope it fits with work!!
