Well done to the Panthers for a great performance. The second half effort showed a lot of courage, especially with so many injuries to key pesonnel. It will be interesting to see how the side regroups against Manly, but it's hard to write the Panthers off after a performance like that.

For mine Panthers as a team earned respect in 2003
Roosters seem to demand respect despite not earning it since 2002 (and us one eyed Dogs fans argue that they weren't the best side in 2002)

Painting with broad strokes here: Panthers fans also don't seem to be gloating bastards, or w@nkers; which can come with the territory for Roosters fans.

Also for some reason I like most of the Penrith players, and think of them as decent guys, or great players. e.g. 2nd rowers.
Whereas I have dislike for a few roosters players e.g. Hodges, Croker, Morley, and think of a lot of them as over-rated.

Ulimately it's good for players and fans to have respect for one anothers team, so congrats to Panthers and their fans, I hope the Dogs get you next time.
