I've always said 2004 was going to be a good year for us. As far back as 2002 I was predicting that this would be the year. Mainly because we are going to have great depth, as half a dozen virtual nevilles suddenly turn into good first graders. Thus we will be getting around the cap by having some of our first graders on very little money.

Winning it may be beyond us, but I'm very confident about the top 8.

Go you Sharkies. Peachey will have his biggest year ever. He will play SOO. Kimmorley will challenge for Dally M player of the year. Vagana will top the try scoring list, Merritt highest point scorer. Stevo and Beatts will return to their best. Lomu will play like he did in 02. Hilder will play SOO along with Gallen. Galloway, Newton, Simmons and Aitken will come on in leaps and bounds . . .

I could go on for ever.
