Cena wasnt on long enough
Molly action was great
Trish-I never saw that coming!
Goldberg/Lesner- never really got off the ground did it
Angle/Eddie-The match of the show I thought
Tag teams -crappy-Hardly watched the cruisers but I will look more closly on tape.
Heavyweights-DAMN pleased to see Benoit get it IT was excellent but Angle /Eddie was better
TAKER-Fantastic stuff-Where they go with him will be very interesting.Do you see the return of the ministry?

It was (in my opinion) 4 1/2 hours of the same horses*it that we have had over the last 2 years since the brand split.
It really needed special guests (Bret Hart, Hulk Hogan) making appearances during the night to keep the crowd entertained. The crowd was certainly not hot the entire night was it?
Actually, during the Shawn Michaels match, I thought for a while they might have Bret Hart making an appearance to rob Michaels of the World title in repayment of the ScrewJob incident. Can you imagine the crowd's reaction.
The biggest reaction by the crowd was for the Undertaker. His OLD GIMMICK. People are sick of the same stuff over and over since the brand split. Bring back some of the old excellent stuff.
The cruiserweight Open was just plain BAD. It LOOKED scripted. Cruiserweights who reguarly go for 20 minutes+ per match. Well, 10 lost in about 15 minutes. BOOOO.
And Cena. Pffftt. 2 minutes is about 3 minutes too long for this fool on TV. Sack him NOW.

I should add the Hall of Fame segment was OK.
Poor old Bobby the Brain. He's starting to show his age isn't he.
We could probably do without Fabulous Moolah and co.
Paul Bearer is BACK. Yeah.

Cena V Show - puts cena over

Xtian V Y2J - good match

R N S V Evo - great match

Lesnar V GB - for the sureal moment that took place

Eddy V Angle - great match

Taker V Kane - deadman returns

HHH V HBK V Benoit - BENOIT!!!!

Apart from the above matches everything was utter crap or filler that shouldn't have been on the card. Too many cooks spoil the broth and i think this was definately the case in the CW match and the 2 fatal four ways.

The fatal four ways could have been good but as it's been well documented lately, tag matches are being really poorly promoted these days. I sense that Booker and RVD might stick together for a little while because I noticed that the WMXX entrance vid and song was for both of them combined - mind you it was very poorly thrown together so maybe it was just for the night :)

The cruiserweight open was disgraceful and was another example of a match at a big ticket show being spoiled with *yet another* interference win. I expect this kind of thing on the weekly shows, where we always see someone getting distracted and suddenly being rolled up and for some reason not being able to kick out. This sort of shit finish should never happen at a PPV, and especially not in a match which involves 10 guys all up. They really need to be finishing big event matches like this with a big event finish, not those cheap annoying stolen victories.

Lesnar v Goldberg was a big letdown, considering all the buildup. I don't think it's entirely Lesnar's fault with the decision to leave - there was more to it than that. Austin got all the pops but it seems to me like he is finally starting to lose some of his edge with the crowd. If his character isn't worked right over the next few months he might start to fade a little. Did anyone else think he seemed pretty drunk on RAW last week? :)

As far as the other matches went, I thought the two main event title matches were excellent. I'm not sure if it was part of the match itself but it seemed to me like Angle was a long way off the pace compared to his usual self. He is strong, fast, controlled and never dilly-dallies when he's making his move but there were a few moments in that match where he genuinely looked sluggish, like something was up. With the other match, I've always been a HBK fan and lately he and HHH have been pissing me off with their creative arrogance. But HBK in particular showed to me why he is the best, I thought he in particular was crucial to making a triple threat match of that proportion work. Big props to HHH too for putting Benoit over cleanly, he deserves it and it was all for the best - the night finished off beautifully.
