why does wendell sailor keep getting selected in the wallabies? is it because eddie jones is sweet on him. is it because if he isn't selected it will come across as if the aru made a very expensive blunder? he's not particulary playing that good, lote tequiri and clyde raTH bone are much more superior rugby players. it puzzles me how he keeps making the side

Last time I watched he has been on the bench. Rathbone is well entrenched now.

Wendall was held up by the ARU as a real coup and a slap in the face for the NRL. In reality it hasn't quite worked out.

Normally in a rugby union bench you wouldn't bother having a replacement winger surely.

Maybe a replacement who could also play fullback would be OK but I don't think Wendell can do that.

When Matt Burke goes then they won't have him to cover fullback and five eight and centre, so maybe things will change.

It's because if they didn't select him the ARU would basically be admitting what a collossal waste of money he was.

I think thats why the ARU are waiting for his contract to finish so thay could say Sionara to him .

I would like to see Wendall do a Brad Thorn.

Smart bloke Thorn. He had a rest for a couple of years with rugby, made a motza and gets a last dig with his beloved broncos. He wont spend his time freezing his balls off either.

you could be right there timbo, or more because graham henry didnt want him.

hes a terrific player in either code.

I think with Thorn it was more a case of the ABs not wanting him anymore.

Which doesn't mean they, or henry, were correct in not wanting him. They played better last year, with Thorn, than without him this year.

thornes trouble is his size.
hes too short for a lock and too big for a flanker.

i think the AB,s made a bad mistake in letting him go anyway.

Rest ? Mate , he fulfill a childhood dream of become an All Black . His childhood hero was also an All Black . I think his Brisbane born wife was a bit homesick and they head back home .

Im sure Sailors days with the Wallabies are numbered, he has never really set the world on fire in Rugby Union, I don’t believe he will return to League though, rather I can see him taking up a large offer to play Union in either England, France or Japan.

He should go to Leeds, where he could play both codes. I think he played a bit of union and league there in the mid-90s.

Made a motza? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

You do realise that Thorn's starting package was only $40K. He took a pay cut to fulfill a childhood dream.

I'd keep my mouth shut in the future, if I was you....especially when you know bugger all about the topic. Fool.
