After Ezra's third texted my son to say all over. Switched to a programme I recorded for 10 minutes then came back to see score 24-8 then our comeback. What a win cried with joy.

I was with family who are Broncos fans and almost had my head in hands and devastated at 24-8 down.
I thought we were shot with Broncos on fire and with our guys going off with HIA’s.

I’ve never been so happy to be wrong. Nathan is definitely our greatest Panther now, if there was a debate before..I’m going to miss Critter too, a try in every GF he’s played!

With Smith getting tired and a clearly injured and underdone Tago getting torn to shreds by Ezra/Walsh I thought the Broncos would continue on and give us a real drubbing. Even Nathan who is a superb defensive half was having a shocker with missed tackles. Then Yeo goes off with a HIA and Luai finally succumbs, and it was all over.

Turning point was getting Leota and Fish back on as well as Cogger. With Cogger on we finally got some flow and structure back into our attack which honestly looked lost and stilted beforehand.

To win with two underdone and clearly injured players was a miracle in itself. So proud of the boys - I think that Critta try was the true turning point. You could tell he and Spencer were giving 1000% in their last 20 or so minutes as Panthers. You could see our guys really believe and the Broncos started to panic. With us assaulting them in he last 7-8 minutes you could feel we were going to get over them.

That last 3 minutes I was standing (with 7 Y/o) on my shoulders, too nervous to sit down. I was shaking but when we got the ball with 30 seconds to go - I couldn't believe it. The Tears of joy started to flow.

That game had all the emotions.

It started with Quiet Confidence.
Then minor concern at half time as we had dominated and only had a 2 point lead.
Then significant Concern.
Then Panic
Then Dejection
Then Slight hope.
Real Hope.
Elation.
Minor Trepidation
Then Finally EUPHORIA

The realization that we were now the undisputed best team in the NRL era really hit. Panther Pride!

We were gone. I posted as such after Mam's 2nd try.
What concerned me was with the dominance in the 1st half. We were only up by 2. Brisbane's 1st half completions were 60% yet they missed less tackles than us and they had 2 line-breaks to our none by HT. Add to that some of our last tackle options were poor. I was very concerned by HT with such a slender lead. I figured possession would even out.

24-8 I was thinking by how many.
I didn't expect the greatest comeback of all-time in a grand final. By the greatest team of the modern era.

I thought we were gone 100%. Even tweeted as such saying it sucks for Crichton and Leniu to go out like that.

After Mann's third...and then Luai coming off...and then Yeo and Sorro having to come off for HIA's...I was like "It's just not meant to be I guess".

Then Ivan brought Moses back on and he changed the whole complexion of the game. He dominated the middle again. Fish came back on. Even Garner did a job replacing Yeo and then moving to the centres late in the game replacing Tago.

On the back of a couple of big Moses runs - Cleary makes a break and we score and I'm like "Ok...ok....if we score in the next 5 minutes...maybe we are a shot here".

Then Cleary kicks a 40-20 and I'm feeling tingles.

Then Crichton scores with 10 to go and I'm like...ok ok...game on we are getting them through the middle and momentum has shifted...surely not right?

Then Carrigan drops the ball inside their 50....Cogger straights up and runs hard....then Kenny with the pass fake right and moving left to Nathan to create the gap between a slow marker and the sliding right defense...plants on his left foot and beats 2-3 arm grabs to go over...and my voice is then gone.
