I thought Racing To Win looked better at its previous run than yesterday.
A tough pace at the Valley over 2040m might find him out but I wont say he cant win-just wont be backing him.Likely to be a short price in NSW too.

he did what eremein couldn't do. yes to a lesser extent

he could sit behind the leaders in the cox plate and unleash at the 300m mark. he'd put 2 on them within 50m

can el segundo give him a start and then catch him? i can't wait to find out

i dont think it struggled at all. eremein struggled to get past it. and people dont rate desert war highly enough especially at randwick 1600m. lok at these facts

interestingly, DW has had 10 starts at Randwick which was in 8 G1's and 2 G2's for stats of 10:2-1-3
he's had 11 runs at 1600m including 8 G1's, a listed, a C1 and a MDN for stats of 11:6-1-1. 3 of those wins at G1 level
he loves the track/distance and was always going to run well. he was weighted very well in my eyes after going up only 1.5KG even after winning a G1 and G2 in the year after his 2nd epsom

but moffo, i wont be taking the shorts either. for RTW or ES. it will be a great race to sit back and watch. unless one of these horses gets to a backable price because i'll be jumping on then. either of them
