I reckon WA will do a Brumbies as QLD and NSW still try to win a flag....Western Force will win the Super 14 within the next 5 years!

John Mitchell is a great coach and is without doubt the best coach when you consider the four Australian super 14 sides. You only have to consider his record as NZ head coach to realise that he was treated unfairly and made the scapegoat by NZ rugby officials. Mitchell will be a tremendous addition for WA and this will be reflected by their forwards skill levels and aggressiveness. This will be a welcome change for Australian rugby

While Mitchell is a great coach, he's a p!ss weak communicator. He's still by far and away the best coach within Australia currently.

Graham Henry though has done fairly well with the All Blacks though. It doesn't seem as if New Zealand rah-rah has gone backwards without Mitch, quite the opposite really. Still, IMO a bit harshly done by at the end of the day. He'd have been knighted if he had the record he had with the All Blacks with the Wannabes.

mitch was weak. he was a figurehead and robbie deans was calling the shots.
when mitch got the heave from the AB,s he went to Waikato to coach NPC with his old team. they started off ok with a talent rich squad but fell by the wayside once the super coaches bubble had burst.
funnily enough, once mitch said goodbye the team returned to their previous winning ways.

perth are welcome to him, he will do more damage than good.

I'm coming over to WA for the game against the Tah's.
I do think that The “Farce” will be competitive..............competitive against
The QLD Reds and the SA Cats.
Cellar-duellers.

Agree, the only thing the Force will be in the running to win is the wooden spoon with a strong challenge from the Cats.

They are going to be relying heavily on Mackay, Henjak and Sharpe.
It will be good to see how the young No. 9 and 10 react to the
Extra pressure and attention. If they play well, they may be an option
For the National team……

Mitchell was a tough number 8, and a good All Black coach, except in his media relationships.

The Force will win more than they lose. You read it here first.

The home games for WA are in BOLD

· v Brumbies in round 1
· v Hurricanes in round 2
· v Chiefs in round 3
· v Queensland Reds in round 5
· v Waratahs in round 6
· v Bulls in round 7
· v Stormers in round 8
· v Highlanders in round 9
· v Blues in round 10
· v Crusaders in round 11
· v Cats in round 12
· v Cheetahs in round 13
· v Sharks in round 14

A very tough ask for a new team, 6 of 14 games at home.
The home games they play some of the better teams too.
And they travel to SA for the last three rounds, very tough draw.

05/03/05 Sharks V Tahs 13-36 Tah’s Win Kingsmead Stadium
12/03/05 Cats V Tahs 19-40 Tah’s Win Ellis Park
16/04/05 Brumbies V Tahs 10-6 Tah’s Win Canberra Stadium
30/04/05 Highlanders V Tahs 41-20 Tah’s Win Carisbrook

We only lost one away game last year and we would have won if Matt Rogers
wasn't kicking.

The Waratahs will come crashing back down to earth this season. I predict they will finish mid table.
