Does everyone concur that the 2005 Tigers team is akin to Eric the Eel?

Everyone knows he wouldn't of won if the others had of swum.

They won eight in a row to get them into the top 4.

They played inspired, tough and gritty football in the semis.

They absolutely played for eachother.

Do not believe for one minute that we did not deserve that premiership.

Opposition supporters are just jealous that we won a fairytale premiership.

If we never win another one, so be it, the memories of 05 will last with me forever and a day.

As I recall there were only about three teams we did not have a win against in 2005. Some we beat more than once, and that one team more than twice... Ah, the memories!

We won 11 of our last 13 games including 8 in a row,broke the semi final points record and played some pretty decent footy too,so Eric the Eel has no right to be mentioned in the same breath
