I know this is probably old news to you, but I just wanted to say that you have crap people running your football club.
They didn't release Farah (to play for Lebanon) and Sheens (to coach Russia) because they didn't make the top 8, what a piss poor excuse.
The Panthers came last and released Sammut (to play for Malta) and Sheens (to coach USA).
International Rugby League will never work if your club continues to do bullshoot things like this.

Have a look at where union is at internationally and ask yourself where union would be with your attitude or if clubs like the Tigers had anything to do with it. 30 years ago union and league weren't that different in terms of international size, 30 years ago union decided to expand international, 30 years ago Engliah and Australian clubs took over the running of the game.
Now ask yourself why union now has the money to chase our star players, it's due to there international game something the West Tigers don't give a stuff about.

M8 if you think Rugby Union's laughable international game is where we should be heading then our opinions differ right there.

The world cup was the biggest most boring farce of a competition i have ever seen. They invited a whole heap of horrible sides to compete with a few highly elite teams. The result was god knows how many pool games that were a joke. Rugby Leagues international development is fine. If you want to go thrash the Turkish RL side who have 9 aussies and 4 Kiwis in it then go ahead. Ill reserve my interest for actual proper test matches, for which Rugby has little more ability to supply than RL.
