We've signed 20 year old prop Jack Buchanan from St George for next year. I've heard very good things about him so he is a very good step towards strengthening our pack. Hopefully more signings are to come in the off-season.

Like a new coach, that would be nice, anyway I hope this bloke works out, because Keithy is injured for half a season every year, and Groat is miles of NRL level.

Groat is still without a contract for next year, but Sheens saying he will join props such as Groat alludes to a new contract coming for that worthless f**king pillow disguised as an NRL player.

Groat is signed till the end of next year (2013).

He's a 20 yr old thrown into first grade(at age 18/19 and through a finals campaign) u can't expect him to be world beater straight away especially in his position and after his run of injuries. He'll be ineligible to 20's next year so should get some experience in NSW Cup and be back with a better chance to make a fist of FG.

Well said.

Groat doesnt deserve flack, he is a young bloke thrown in the deep end who did his best. The dog shot that knocked him out damaged his confidence a lot as well.

Agree on Groat. He and Buchanan will provide some depth at prop to understudy for Galloway and eventually replace him when the time comes.

Hopefully Buchanan goes well, but if a bloke hadn't been signed by anyone for 2013 AFTER the 2012 season had finished, it's hard to get excited about him
