Some good luck with the draw this year for those who like to get interstate and make a bit of a holiday out of it.

Melbourne on Good Friday (Apr 19) with the double long weekend giving extra incentive to get down there. Bonus points if you take 2 days off work and stretch it out Anzac Day (as long as you're back in Sydney by then!)

Raiders at Magic Weekend in Brisbane (May 9-12 with ours on the Sunday) with the following game vs the Broncos on Friday (May 17). Good excuse to spend a week in QLD if you can get it.

Finally we have the Storm in Adelaide (Jun 28). No icing on this cake but it was a great trip anyway when I went in 2017.

My mate and I have been interstate for a game the last 4 seasons. 2 in Brisbane, the 2017 adelaide game and one in GC. Melbourne is next on our list but sadly Easter is no good for us. He is in hospitality and has to work on good friday, literally any other friday would have been better.

We may go to the adelaide game, will see. I am also keen for a NZ trip but we don't play there this year. I can't seem to gather the motivation to go to townsville but don't think we play there this year anyways.

Will most likely go to the Adelaide game this year, really enjoyed the trip over in 2017. Have friends pestering me to come up and visit hem in Brisbane and was thinking of going up for the Magic Weekend but that is my weekend on at work and don’t want to cut into my annual leave for it but I might go up for the Broncos game the week after.

If you’re a glutton for punishment you could always go to the Canberra game. We haven’t won there since 2010. And, like last year we play there in August where as and added bonus it sleeted during the game.

Went down down for the Canberra game for the last two years, sat in the grandstand both times because the weather looked dicey both times thought it was actually colder for the 2017 match which was at the end of May but yes last years game was cold but was very rugged up, it was when I was walking back to car after the game is when I really felt the cold, jumped straight in and put the heater on.

Could be worse. I was there in 2002 and it was Laurie Daley's last game. The heavens opened up just before kick off and never stopped raining. Those of us who bussed down all got back on the bus soaked to our skins and absolutely freezing.

Don't think i've ever been down to Canberra for an Easts game.
Went to a World Cup game there in 17 and the Sharks Raiders semi in 16. Not a bad ground but the bars take about 75 mins to serve up a beer

Actually looking at the draw the Friday night game @ Newcastle could be a go, I haven't been to a game there before.

Imagine being there for the game when it snowed against the Tigers. I don’t really like sitting in the grandstand down there , I prefer the outer but for the last two years my better half said look at the sky before the game so we decided on the grandstand. Went down for a game back in 1987 at Seiffert Oval, it was one of those clear days but with a westerly wind blowing, I had a jersey on, jumper over the jersey and a leatherjacket on and was still cold but yes a wet bus trip back to Sydney would be horrible. Luckily now when we go down to Canberra for a game we stay with friends who are only about a 10-15 minutes drive away from the ground so there is a warm house and warm shower waiting for us when we get back, stuff driving back to Sydney on a Sunday night when the game finishes just before 6 pm.
