This is ridiculous...

We can't string 2 wins together, how the hell do we even consider ourselves a chance of the Semis, we have NOTHING in attack, the Kicking is pitiful, and just as we start to think there is some cohession coming together all of a sudden we look pedestrian, and if we play like this we won't beat anyone...

If changes aren't made from this team then there is something wrong..

Yes we had bad decisions but even if that try was given, we still had nothing..

Keep in mind we now have 8 first graders out injured, Look at our bench for yesterday for example. i doubt there'd be more than 20 games between the 4 of them, sure they're talented but i think it just shows how bad the injury toll is right now, Sheens wouldnt put the 4 of them on the same bench unless he had too.

At the same time , i have to wonder weather a full strength tigers side would've won that, saints were just that good.

It was a bad day for us.One where everything they did worked, and for us the opposite.

I think there were doubts on plenty of Saints tries, and we got one taken that was VERY unlucky.

Im sure if we were in front at half time it would have been a different game.

We do have plenty of key players out,and when you are down you need a bit of luck to go your way.Yesterday we had none.

When you consider that we had a NO try for a bloke being nine metres away when Miles scored, and at the same time Gasniers try off a kick had two blokes offside and inside the ten,yet the try was awarded.

Saints first try only occurred cos they ran straight at Miles who was on one leg.And if Blacklock didnt knock the ball forward when he patted it Ill give it up.Not forgetting that Saints scored a try from a repeat set when Wilson clearly did NOT play at the ball.

Thats thirty points that went against us in the one game. Now Im not saying we were the best team,Saints were on and we were off.But gee we are farkin unlucky.Surely we will get a day soon when we get some LUCK go our way.

Cheers.

This is one thing im struggling a little with at the moment. Why is that Graham is ruled to be involved in a play which he wasnt even involved in??? And then Saints in a near indentical situation are awarded a try and also if nick graham is ruled to have been involved in that play then how can u award saints that try when they admittingly correctly ruled there was no obstructuon or sheaperd in the second half, it just seems there are some inconsistencies in rules.

As you would know Max I haven't held back on them either.

Mary's Garden put my point most succinctly

Agree Mary. Since Sheens took over as coach, he continues to say that all the club needs is consistency, as soon as he finds that consistency we will be a force. In 2003, fair enough, he didn't have the cattle. 2004, he has the personnel, although i'm not going to write him or the team off yet as its only Round 5.

We have key players sitting on the sideline through injury. You look at any other team in the same situation, the Knights, the Roosters for example, they are struggling as we are at the moment. You will always struggle in you haven't got your best 17 on the park, until that happens, Wests will continue to compete against quality opposition.

Still, the effort against the Steel-Dragons was poor. We lacked cohesion in attack, looked very pedestrain...had no idea. Was their a game plan? It didn't look like it. You build your attack on your defence. Sadly not even that was intact against St.Gilla.

The Bye will do Wests the world of good. Some soul searching is definitely required amongst the Tigers. Take a leaf out of South Sydney's book at the moment. It's time to play for the jersey again. Enthusiasm and heart is what is needed. Wests Tigers seem to be down in confidence.

the sad thing is that our pack is weaker than last year.
tezza was dynamic at lock last year, even if you do hate him.we have no one in the pack that creates the same momentum that tezza did.manu created second phase and good metres in small stages along with the impact viane made before injury.

we may of had injuries to payten and boof, but you recruit to handle these losses and tim didn't.he pinned his hopes of converting a second rower and then bought a player who the week after got a serious injury.when payten first got injured we should have been buying another prop.he also would rely on one of the pl players being ready but it seems he was wrong on that as well,or we would have seen them wouldn't we?

we are still to lay a solid platform by our forwards and while it may sneak you home against a bottom 7 team like the cowboys and sharks, against top 8 teams we are giving up over 30 points a game.

the game on the weekend was our best game with ball control, discipline and off loads, yet we were smashed.because we suck in the yardage game after 5 tackles and our yardage on the last sucks as well.

it will be a joke if tim does not do something about the forwards, weather boof is ready or not.

we are quickly looking like the attacking team at the start of last year if we aren't already.

I thought that we looked very flat, maybe they had a big night out, (no think that it might have more to do with playin in nth qld last week, obvisously took alot out of them, but in sayin that they still played absolutely crap), expect for a couple of them, they are way 2 small and have no thrust what so ever, int he forwards no even looks like breakin the line, i know that we have alot of injuries, but fair suck of the sav. This is a time that we really do miss willie manu to break the line and make some progession and add some thrust, come on mr sheens please dont pick the same team this week, please bring back gray vianne

whats happening with gray does anybody know????? we need some to take the ball, sattler, oniell and graham are all edge of the ruck players, not up the guts

Even allowing for a couple of decisions that went the dragqueens way and even if you were at full strength, you wouldn't have beaten the Dragons yesterday they made one error in the second half, you guys made about 12.

Your pack even at full strength is too small, and the dragons just looked way too big and dominat for you. Even nevilles like Poore (who I never heard off) and Simms carved you up the guts. Imagine if they had had Ryles on the field???

Withers had another top game for them, you guys are absolute fools for not retaining him, it was odds on he'd be fired up to beat you guys.

Many of us have questioned our depth in the front-row and our lack of focus on recruiting quality big men!

Meanwhile - this depth has been further tested by injury - and yet despite the Balmain Premier League props being in career-best form in a winning team - they are being overlooked and the coach persists with the likes of the blatantly f**king useless Paterson!

Sheens does have to take a good look at himself and re-evaluate his game plan for 2004 (the small mobile ball-playing forwards are just not getting the f**king job done) - or we will face many more dismal losses like sunday!

I do have to say i was a little surprised that Patterson got the nod ahead of Lima, considering it was Lima who looked the more likely to play before the team was announced. Perhaps though its a horses for courses policy and Sheens thought Patto would be needed for his defensive attributes, which is a poo excuse.

I guess Like Lamb had his bunny, Runcimen maybe Patto is Sheensys?
