Was going to post this in the World Cup Forum but decided to put it here.If Mods can still move it there if that is the best place for it.

Anyway the above Tournament kicks off in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea in just under 4 weeks time.
Yes FIFA is taking one of their flagship tournaments and up here for a 4 week long tournament.

18 Countries including female soccer heavy weights USA, Brazil, Sweden, Spain, France, Germany etc will be up in Port Moresby using some of the same venues that the PNG Kumuls will be playing their 3 games out off.

Would there be anything at all that the organisers of the PNG leg of our Rugby League World Cup next year could maybe learn from with how FIFA is arranging this tournament.

Things like security, transports, ticketing, Televising of games, Live Streams and maybe other aspects as well.
Maybe they will also make a few mistakes that we can learn from and not repeat at our own World Cup..

We should have had it long ago I guess.

But it will interesting to see how they will manage to keep 18 Teams in Port Moresby for a whole month.
Also the security and logistics to cater for travelling fans.

It will almost be as big as the Pacific Games from last year again.

Anyway thinking just about it again and I think our Rugby League World Cup games in Port Moresby will be so much easier.
