A fantastic effort by the boys last night. One to be really proud of and congratulations all round.

The highlight for me though was the excitement in my Grandmothers voice when she rang to talk about the game. She has been supporting Cronulla since day one.

So Cronulla has no real history or tradition eh?? Well my family has 4 generations of Sharks supporters. grand parents, parents, us and our little bloke.

I am a third generation Sharkies supporter, so no wonder its in the blood!!!.

What generation Sharks supporter are you??

Make no mistake, first generation Sharkies supporters are just as important as fourth or even fifth!! What a great Club we belong to!

2nd generation Shark. My old man, took me to my first game when I was five.

My nephew is the third generation, although he's moved to WA and goes for the AFL.

First.

My dad was a Balmain supporter at one stage, but coming from the country I never followed a particular team out there. I'm a Shark for life now though :D

Well, one of my relatives, came to Australia to support the sharks.
But due to big seas, he had to get off at Botany Bay.

First. Dad was a Balmain man and grandfather was a Norths man. Rest of the family are Parra and Souths.

First.

My parents don't really give a rats about footy. They only pay a bit of attention because I play it.

My Grandad was a mad Bunnies supporter though, and he used to drag my dad to watch them run around, so I think the old man has a bit of a soft spot for them.

Each member of my family follows a different side. (Parents, brothers etc).
My 5 year, old and 3 year old sons though are Sharks supporters.
If they are stupid enough to follow another team when they get older they will be disowned.
Sort of like being gay (not that theres anything wrong with that).

 Great episode!

Well my dad told me he took me to thier(Sharks) first ever game....

He was a Saints supporter.....but he warmed up more to the Sharks as the years went by and only always took me to Sharks games. :)

So I guess that makes me a second.....oh and the ol' chook is a Shark as well and both brothers.

2nd. My parents started following the Sharks ever since we moved from Wagga to the Shire in 1967 (ironically our first year in).

Now my nephew is a Sharks fan too, so there's 3 generations in our family all up.

First generation - my grandmother, mother and sister all go for Souths. Have slowly been converting the next generation though - my nieces/nephews, step nephew and my cousins' kids all come to the games and think its a real treat. I think my nephew actually cried the other week when Souths beat us. :(

In Homer Simpsons voices... "Ohhhh, I don't know. Help me brain... brain?".

I was the first to follow them, but then got my dad involved in them :D

That was 1974 for me and 76 for my dad. SO, am I first generation or is he? :p

My father follows Queens Park Rangers.
My son is a Broncos man.
My daughter is a shark, but not a keen league supporter.

2nd - Dad followed Souths until he moved to Cronulla in about '68. I showed up a couple of years later, by which time he was a Shark. All our family follow them now (well, the ones that care about footy, that is) - and I've got 3 nippers that I'm training to be 3rd gen supporters! Knowing my luck, they'll end up going for the Broncos tho. #-o

First. My family has no use for football. They're constantly telling me to stop yelling cause it's just a game. Some people just don't understand.
