what if these guys were not league players, would the girl have gone to the police or NRL club so quickly?

I'm not condoning this nor backing up the players, but is the girl after something else?

I can't really say what the girl is thinking, but any woman wouldn't be impressed by receiving a vile message like that, regardless from who it was from. And following the Coffs Harbour incident, being from a player the message would perhaps have been more concerning for her.

I didn't know she went to the police, but I doubt she'd have gone to the media if they were ordinary Joe's.
