As to your first piece of information, absolutely spot on.

As to your second, truth to the rumour, but highly unlikely to happen.

As to your third, NOT on. Pure paper talk.

As to your fourth, as with all quality players they are obviously highly sought after.

As to your fifth, pure speculation. All players are under contract for the foreseeable future.

As to your sixth, absolutely not true. Have just in the last hour, spoken to numerous players and officials. BS is very well liked by the players. Obviously the result of last weekends game was not as it should have been, but no reason to believe that things will not improve this week.

As I've just posted in the Hindmarsh Cup thread

Check out today's Telecrap there is an apology from them regarding the meeting.

It states that the article mentioned it was a meeting that was setup at the last minute however that was incorrect and the meeting had been planed for a couple of months as an ongoing series of these type of meetings


I'm not surprised that people are seeing rumours where there are none. It is too be expected yes the game v Dogs was a disgrace and Jamie did leave to clear his head

similar rumours floated around when PEachey and Hodges left

Hodges was going to Brisbane
Peachey was having an affair and his wife kicked him out of the house
etc etc etc

Just some classic rumours I've heard in recent times about Lyon

1. Jamie Lyon never fully recovered from the ankle injury and is having on going problems that have effected ability to walk without pain and have caused early retirement

2. Jamie Lyon misses Noel Cleal and is going to join Manly

3. It's all Smith's fault

4. Lyon was the Bulldogs 2nd victim in a tackle and was too distraught over the goings on to ever play again

Well I've just got off the phone myself and been assured that all is well within the camp. Everyone is pissed off at last week's effort, but not pissed at Smithy and they do not have the view that it is a military camp.

Now the team needs to knuckle down and come up with a performance that we can at least all be proud of in Brisbane. Even if they lose, as long as they put the effort in is all I really want.
