watched memoirs of a geisha after finishing the book

really loved the movie, but im left wondering if i would have understood any of it if i hadnt read the book...... it seemed to take a lot for granted

that being said, it was a visually stunning movie, really did (the elements of the book that it explored) justice

Dial M for Murder- Hitchcock masters the plot, and Grace Kelly is uber hot for the time its set in.

Clubland: Not what I expected, but I admit I did enjoy it. Aussie acting can actually be of a decent quality if directed well.

Think I'll give December Boys a run tonight...

Hannibal Rising - Crap. First 15 minutes was good though...

well actually i seen about 10 minutes of it before that part so lets see 2hrs 30 mins divided by 10mins = 1/15 chance of seeing that part
If all 6 billion people in the world watched it for 10mins at various points in the movie approx 400000000 would see it.
Sounds plausible to me

Pirates of the Caribbean 3 - a bit silly, would have looked impressive on the big screen. Seemed to just be a lead up to POTC4.

I;m in the middle of watching that again, I like it more this time 'round. It's not a GREAT movie but is still a good watch;

Shameless S1: I LOVE this show. Not sure why but it makes me laugh a hell of a lot.

"Mulholland Drive" - makes as little sense as it did first time around. Was trying to work what I'd missed, as I saw that it had a rating of 8.0 on IMDb. Still a crap movie.
