Of that team, 5 have already played Super League, and apart from Burke and Sarsfield they are all on full time deals and training with their clubs' first team squads (not sure about the Warrington players). The interesting thing is that I'm not sure this is the strongest squad with the best kids - it mostly seems to be made up of Wigan and Warrington players, which may have helped with team gelling etc but these those teams weren't dominant at youth level. I read that 9 of this year's squad will also qualify to play next year as well, it would be interesting to know how many of the Australian squad qualify.
Warrington and Wigans players played at a higher level than u18 (reserves mainly) and both these teams finished at the top end of the table.
As for the Wire players, Evan (Rhys) has already played for the first team and will be looking to cement his place. Talk of either a centre or full back role.
O'Brien is hopefully going to be the guy to replace Briers. Prob in 2012, but that is big boots so we will see.
Laithwaite and the other Evans can join the other youngsters in the pack, when Harriosn moves to prop full time to replace Morley in a few years then there is an opening for a 13.
We have King, both Monaghans and Hodgson as our aussie overseas stars. None of which (IMO) will be around in 2 years, most prob leaving after next season so if these guys are good enough there will be a place for them.
