Craig Wing has quit the NRL to play Japanese rugby union.

The South Sydney star has had money disputes with the Rabbitohs over third party agreements.

There were also suggestions Wing was sounded by the Sydney Roosters - his former club - and Parramatta.
For more information tune into Fox Sports Ch 513 where Craig Wing will be speaking exlcusively

But Wing has decided to leave rugby league for Japanese rugby union - details of his club will be announced this afternoon.

Cronulla's Fraser Anderson quit the NRL earlier this year to sign with Japanese rugby union.
I suppose he will be on the wing to start with . Maybe a move to the centers in two years time if he's good enough .

Well it is Japanese Union, not like it is the big leagues.

I imagine centre he ain't much of a kicker.

I thought scrum half would be the obvious place to put him although I don't think he'd be that much out of place at fly half, inside centre or fullback

He will play fullback...an ideal position with his speed and kicking ability.

Did he actually play league ???.

Played league as a junior Kia Ora. Only played union once he went to Sydney Boys.

Japanese rugby? #10 or #12 for certain. It's not S14 for gods sake.

Not sure how good Wing's Japanese is, but the fly half and half back need to be exceptional communicators as they coordinate the backs and the forwards.

Hes in great form at the moment and could easily play a number of positions in the backline, but not speaking Japanese is a MASSIVE barrier. Unless of course he can
