At least they're showing the Challenge Cup now, so they won't suck for two hours late next Saturday night...

Yeah true. It's not like they'd be giving up showing anything worth watching. They just usually have some Z Grade Movie on at that time.

It shouldn't be too hard for them to commit one timeslot for the whole year though, for a sport that they bought the rights to show... 2pm Sunday is a great slot leading into the NRL game.

Which game is normally on during that slot? If it is the Saturday game, Sky have been televising a Sunday night fixture rather than a Saturday one for the last few weeks so that might explain why it was not shown.

Originally Nine were showing 2 Super League games each week.

The "match of the round" game was broadcast at 2pm Sunday and another "lesser" game was being shown in the middle of the night somewhere between midnight and 2am on a night that nobody bothered to work out.

The "lesser" game appears to have been dropped altogether, and now the season is reaching it's climax and more and more importance comes with each match, the match of the round has been punted to the middle of the f**king night so they can show re-runs of the Farmer wants anal sex with a desperate lady with attention issues and then that is followed by "crap actors run around on boats".

Not sure if this is to do with Sky's alteration of programmes but I thought the Sunday Day game was the Friday night game from the UK.

I was f**king livid yesterday and I will be writing a letter of complaint to Channel 9.

ill be writing a letter as well. is there an email or phone number for complaints?

f*ck im sick of these pr*cks. if they arent going to show the games, why the hell did they pick up the rights. give them back to fox, who even though broadcast the games 4 or 5 days later, were consistent every week. how long do we have to cop this from the idiots who basically control our game?

There is a notice on Nein's website stating that under the terms of the "tell us if you think we're a pack of arseholes legislation" that all complaints MUST be made in writing.

Basically only the really pissed off people will write - the vast majority have other things they need to do.

That way they absolve themselves from any responsibilty they would otherwise have to deal with by pissing people off.

Dear Channel 9

I would like to take this opportunity to voice my disappointment at Channel 9’s decision to remove the Engage Super League program from the regular 2pm Sunday time slot and to move it to the middle of the night.

Last weekend, the game between Huddersfield and St Helens was advertised, yet for the second week running the Super League show was replaced by The Farmer wants a Wife repeats.

I am utterly disgusted with Channel 9’s treatment of the Engage Super League and if you’re not going to give the Super League a decent time slot, do the decent thing and allow Foxtel access to the broadcasts. At least when they had the rights to show the games they had the decency to keep to a regular timeslot at a decent hour so fans were able to see the games.

If you wish to persist with your ridiculous policy of showing games in the middle of the night, please do the decent thing and broadcast them on a SATURDAY night so fans can record them and watch them on Sunday when the vast majority of people actually have time to watch television.

Yours sincerely
