What we look like

It occurred to me, while looking at pics of Carcharias and his band, that most of us probably have some sort of mental image of regular forum members that may or may not be at all accurate.

For example, I now know that Ron looks like Ian Thorpe but prior to that I envisioned him as a small, hairy fat man with a moustache (actually no I didn't, but I didn't think he was Thorpey either).

So what are people's impressions of other forum members?

I tried to not put a clear pic of me on there...
Those pics are about 2 years old ...I have a shockoing excuse for a hair style at the moment.
The old girl who used to cut my hair retired and I can't bring myself to get to a "salon".

I would bet Dev has long hair and has big heavy boots.
Don't worry Dev I had long hair in the 90's, down to my bum at one stage ...it was all the rage.

I have shaggy, messy hair but it's not long - not more than halfway down my neck anyway. Think Nathan Hindmarsh and you're about right.

Maybe its because I think of Heavy when I read Hevy but I imagined you to be a big bloke.
SM I saw a pic of in that thread he is talking about - nothing what I imagined!

I kind of used to have a big slash hairdo but it just became weird when I wasnt a rock star!!
Now I have a similar hindmarsh messy look but a bit more geoff robinson (the animal from the dogs in the 80s)

One day we'll all catch up for a beer and we'll all be walking around the pub like idiots looking for people that actually look nothing like we envisage.

For the record I'm 6'3 and thin with Nathan Hindmarsh hair but my bum isn't as big as his.

It's funny that people are always surprised I'm a metal head because I look and dress nothing like one.
