What's going wrong at st Helens

Rumours last week wellens had resigned. All the fans happy yet the club kept silent. Then we're told no he's staying. Talk about deflated. The club are spiraling downwards and the chairman does absolutely nothing to fix it. Wellens needs replacing now.
16 consecutive losses to Leigh Warrington Wigan and hull kr is abysmal.fans turning and now players turning on the fans. Next game will be a low attendance and toxic. People are wondering what has wellens got on McManus to still be in a job. Ok he's definitely going end of season but this season again a write off. The chairman loves the applause when we're winning yet he disappears when were losing. I stopped going because of wellens. His tactics are dreadful.

Key players got old and poor succession...exactly like us a few years ago.....we thought the party would last forever but didn't plan it out well

Warmsley and other older members look old anf ordinary, kids like Bennison are nothing special and Wello clearly is out of his depth as a coach.....the sheer number of errors in play too is unreal....never recall seeing any Saint players making loose carries in the past yet they can hardly finish a set thses days

If they didn't have Welsby at the back and PerciVal still tackling like a demon they'd be even further down the table than they are

Our recruitment is terrible and long contracts to players like Lomax walmsley was very poor. But end of the day wellens is not a head coach. Everyone can see it except McManus and rush.welsby was calling the fans last week so I'm guessing he's going NRL soon .at least U play rugby. We just have no idea what we're doing. This situation won't improve and we're losing Knowles next year too. We never replaced matautia yet was told we would spend full cap. So that doesn't add up. And wellens interviews are awful same thing week after week. If he was anyone else he'd be gone but no we give him another year. Absolutely mind boggling.

Yes all three correct. Welsby is one. Great player big ego but also McManus the chairman again big ego. Beating hull away last season he's dancing around on the pitch with wellens. When we lose he vanishes. I still think he walks round with his we beat Penrith top on because he's still living off that. We had a terrible season last year yet he gives the coach another deal. It's staggering. Crowds will drop and fans are furious the way we're being taken for granted.
As I mentioned rumours were wellens had resigned which was the right thing to do. Everyone was happy and we could move forward. But nope it was all a rumour. As a player he was great. As a coach he's useless. Honestly just look at our past two years results

Some electrical shop I think. The actual standard is worse than under Cunningham. What's frustrating is the club not acting. We're miles off Wigan and hull kr which from where we was is incredible really

If Catalan do youa smash and grab in this one it will be great for Rhinos ,...see they've Lomax back in

Lomax is finished. He can hardly run now. Good job we've got Salford twice in next few weeks. I think we play U twice too. There's 4 points for u

We've got games coming up we should win. Ok we'll get hammered as t hull KR but we got Huddersfield and Salford twice .I read that internally wellens isn't under pressure. I find that incredible to hear and to think he could be here next year is bone chilling

We're not winning anything this year. Hopefully the club are just letting him run down his contract. Because as a club we don't spend as we used too. Even wilkin said that. We shouldn't judge ourselves against lower teams. We need to look at our record against Leigh Wigan Warrington and hull kr. 16 consecutive losses yet the club accepts it

The CEO of st Helens mike rush done an interview finally. Says wellens is a good coach 😂😂😂😂😂 living in fantasy land. He uses every excuse possible to keep wellens. Mates you see. Won't sack him. Hearing he's going end of season which is a bit late but hopefully it's true. As his contract runs out then. I dread to think what the fans will do if he gets another deal. Plenty have already stopped going.
