Whats the angle Mario ?

Just out of interest Mario with regards to the Rugby 2005 video that has been released ( im sure you have had a blimp ). From your standpoint, what does a company look to achieve with a video release like that ?

It doesnt show any actual gameplay ( ie the views most people would use ) its more side angles and high shots and very cinematic. Your video releases seemed along similar lines.

As gamers we are more interested in looking at how we would play a game rather than how flash it can look if you twist it and turn it.

What does the 2005 video tell us if anything ? Are they hiding the gameplay animation etc ? Were you impressed with it and is there nothing really to tell about the game apart from at the end when it tells you released in march ?

nah alot of companies show video of CGI rather then gameplay to get people saying "that looks good"..madden does this every year.

yeah aint that true. WCR looked awesome from it's cinematic game point.

I thought most of that trailer was using the ingame engine, it looked good but seeing as EA havn'r made a good sport game other than the fifa, nba and madden franchises for almost a decade im not to keen.

madden graphics are good but nothing like how the cgi.
