Which is harder ? Say the top teams in NL1 played top teams in senior academy ? Or is Senior academy better because thats where the best players go to for easier access to the top teams ?

thx

It's more an age thing, I think. Either way if someone is running around in Academy or NL1 it's only because they're not quite at the level - yet - to get a run with their (or any) Superleague side.

I'd say the best U21 players are definitely playing in Academy sides. But I'd say that the top teams in NL1 would probably beat the best academy teams, drawing on a mix of experience and talent. The games could be quite close.

ohh ok.. interesting. I suppose the senior academy teams would be much more professional with training etc too.

You seem to have got the wrong idea about Senior Academy,it's more of a competition for youngsters to develop rather than a serious comp in it's own right. There are some talented youngsters in the academies, but most of them end up in NL1 anyway and only a small minority move on to full-time SL contracts, whereas about 5 NL1 clubs are completely full-time and the rest all have a few full-time players.
