I find it amusing living over here in New Zealand and listening to the media take on the Warriors and especially Daniel Anderson.
Prior to the win over Manly on the weekend the radio sport talkback over here has been full of calls for Andersons head and players to be dropped and that it's all Anderson's fault as he has become stale in the job and works the team too hard etc.
Even the mole in the Rugby League Week got into the act with the following quote
"Players are telling their Australian based managers about the lack of spirit in the club this season. And there seems to be a common denominator - Coach Daniel Anderson. The man who took the kiwis to a grand final in 2002 and within one win of the big one last year is demanding and drives his players hard and some are starting to get restless"
To me it's plain ridiculous to be calling for the mans head when you look at
1) Their recent injury toll and players only just returning from injury
2) The quality of players lost
3) Anderson's track record at the club in turning it around
Gee, I wonder where i've heard all this before ...
