i have big worries---all the teams below us or who have been struggling this year are out their in the market place re building for 2005--we have got 1 penrith reserve grader, despite being shown up all over the padock.over the past month--as i see it the top teams are building up,the bottom teams are building up and we are going nowhere---we might have great juniors--but without a few crack nrl players to bring them on,we are going nowhere---sheens was god a month or two ago--but to be realistic-he has achieved what everyone else has--a good start and a poor finish--till they get some real class and fire works up front their going nowhere--in the last few years they have chased 100 players and came up with 5.Maybe it is steve lavers and noyce who are the problem--but the way i see it--the big woodedn spoon is just around the corner, unless they get the cheque book out and make hard the tough decisions

I'm pretty happy with the way things are going atm.It does worry me alittle
with other clubs building up.If there's no prop signings in the next month then
i'll be worried.
I think sheens has laid a good foundation for our future, not just short term
fixes.I don't think we are as bad as the last month has indicated.

I remember daniel anderson saying last year after australia smashed nz
"We don't want to play australia during origin time".If u look at the roosters
and dragons they are mostly origin players and we got to play them at a
really bad time IMO.Luck of the draw.Other than those two games we haven't
been that bad this year IMO.A few changes are needed but not wholesale.

injuries have been our biggest concern this year..
it has tested our depth in some positions..
i think the tigers have the playing roster to be definatly semi finals bound.. maybe not this year depending on the next few games.. but definatly next year..
we'll have hopefully skando and a fully fit payten and gibbs in contention for the front row.. the three of them aren't exactly slouches up front.. and as in the last couple of years.. if required a pl player will put pressure on them and stand up if needed..
wings were a problem.. with one being solidly held with moodie.. but he may move on next year.. but with hopefully a fully fit richards we'll be sweet.. hodgson safe as always at the back..
a fit marshal and prince combination will work well.. they should have a full off season to get their combinations down pat..
and with the news that galea and farah will be possbily sharing the hooking role this area seems to be on the improve as well..
i think the tigers are still going forward..
we have some good juniours coming through.. and we have good players that have cemented their spots in the side and will continue to improve and continue to perform the longer we can keep the same starting side together as much as possible..
i'm not worried about the future of the team or the club.. it's in safe hands..

Particularly early on injuries were really poor for us. The sad thing is though lately weve been basically close to full strength (Only a few players have been out who would be in our best side.), and we have been going pretty poor..

It is no coincidence that we were winning games when Benji was at 5.8th - and it is no coincidence that we are losing games when he is out injured.

If we had a fully fit Benji, a top 8 spot would be beckoning...as it is, we have to wait for next season.

You must have missed him throw the Storm game away.

to win the big games in the second half of the season-you need class and power-and we lack it--mr b marshall would have made no difference against the dragons and the chooks--would have helped against the green machine---any team can beat any team in the ist half of the season--than the cream rises to the top--happens every year--we get a few raps for having a go--but the bottom line we end up near the bottom

Benji is a major reason for the drop in form.Sure he doesnt actually control our attack but he puts fear and doubt into the minds of opposition defenses.Thats a major weapon in itself .

it also allows prince more room to move like in the game against the eels .
