Except John Morris is signed and in there for 240k.
90k for Junior Burger Vish ... is that his CPI increase or an increase that's performance based, based on outstanding efforts like bombing 4 tries against Newcastle's reserve grade side. Towney sh*ts on him

With 2 new Super League clubs coming into the competition for next season, we could find a club willing to buy out John Morris` contract if we wanted to.
I don`t mind Morris` as a footballer, but he`s not worth what we`re paying him and we WILL lose either Te`o, Galloway, Head or Tagive if we don`t make the necessary decision of offloading Morris and Corey Payne.

heighington is up for a new contract you will not get him for 200k more like 250 to 260k thats what the other clubs will offer him

Well to be honest, he`s not worth $250,00-$260,000.
He`s good, but not that good, $220,000 per season tops.

Well as we can see, the point i`m trying to make is that there`s no way we could make a decent offer to the off contract players we need to keep such as Heighington, Te`o, Head, Galloway and Tagive if we keep players that we don`t really need such as John Morris and Corey Payne.
Have revised figures for Ellis, Farah and Heighington.

Vish are those figures entirely based on speculation or do you know some of them for certain? I wonder how much money will be offered to Galloway, Head, Heighington and Te'o?
It will be a coup to retain all of them.

In terms of priority,

1. Head & Te'o
2. Heighinton
3. Gallows.

So far we've heard Heighington is inclined to sign, as long as the price is right; Te'o is concerned about supporting his big family of lawyers, and no news about Galloway or Head.

No my figures are only my own speculation, based on some media reports, some inside info that i`ve received and what i believe they are roughly worth.
We really can`t afford to lose any of them in my opinion and it`s hard to weigh up who is the most important ?
I`d rate Head and Te`o as the 2 most vital as we`ve all witnessed how much difference a natural playmaker such as Head can make to the side and i`ve got no doubt that Ben Te`o is on the verge of being one of the games elite forwards. Heighno is great, but I certainly don`t think he`s unreplaceable, whilst it would be plain silly to invest in Keith Galloway only to now let him go when he appears to be about to arrive as a top class prop. I wouldn`t underestimate the importance of a youngster such as Peni Tagive either. Young wingers as big and fast as him with a bit of a football brain don`t grow on trees and he should become our number one winger in `2009.

Moltzen is almost on par with Chris Lawrence as a ball runner, but has some decent ball skills to go with it. Moltzen is a superstar in the making, just no playmaking halfback as they were trying to make him for a while.
Blake Lazarus goes well too, but not quite in the same class as Moltzen.

I like both of them I just think Lazarus has that x factor that will take him further ... though all of this is dependent on Lazarus coming back as good as he was playing before injury

i dont think we will be active in the player market this year, and we dont have to be.

however head, teo, heighington and galloway all NEED to be resigned. even if it means sacking some others (i agree payne and morris, even galea if need be)
