Where should Ricciardo go?

There's talk that Ferrari are hugely keen on him, while Lewis has been publicly keen on having him as a team mate.

The problem with both moves is that he will become a genuine number 2 driver, which he doesn't want as he wants to be a Champion.

So does Renault become a chance? Especially if Red Bull choose to dump Renault and move to Honda.

But then there's also the chance that Aston Martin could become an engine supplier for RB.

The other teams probably couldn't afford him, so I dare say they are ruled out.

The other thing too is that RB doesn't come across as a team that takes drivers back after they leave.

Thoughts?

There is a lot to consider. Whatever he does, he has better insight and knowledge than anyone else so you have to back him.

Ferrari seemed like the best option and he has been paired with Vettel before - but look at how they have treated Kimi this year.

So Merc is could be. Bottas seems like a decent number 2 driver - if they want a No 2 why wouldn't they stick with Bottas.

RB becoming a factory team with Honda could be dominant with the next round of regs - that is the wildcard in all of this.

A Renault factory drive? Can't see that getting him the championship.

It is a pity Williams have gone so far downhill.
