Time for Gus to step up - has talked the talk now time to walk the walk. I reckon he is up for it as well.

Don't worry about having the glory boys around like Freddy, Joey etc. Get Tommy, Chief, Mortimer into the squad.

Give the kids ago and tell them don't worry about your performance - just show all the passion you have. They will grow into a good side like Qld are now.

Go with

Indris
Pearce
Dugan
Snowdon
Champion
Watmough
Lawrence
Hayne
Mannah
Morris

and others

Never to play again

Gidley - he is not a starting player in origin and because it is 90% plus chance the utility is going to play hooker their are other better options.

Creagh - does not get involved enough

Cooper - doesn't have the speed to beat his opposite

Hindy - his best days are past him - great player but old legs now

O'Donnell - great aggression but way over the top

1.Hayne: Wasn't great but didn't do anything wrong. Is still the future forNSW
2. Morris: Had Shocker but needs more time in Blue
3. Idris: Too dangerous to ignore
4. Scott: Showed enough to keep Inglis quiet tonight & likes the stink
5. Uate: If he qualifies pick him before QLD find an excuse TOO!!
6. Campese: No point picking Barrett if he is retiring. Must be next in line
7. Pearce: Didnt do anything wrong is probably best option for future

8. Weyman: May not be flashy but will get the yards
9. Ennis: Should play full 80mins. Perfect for Origin
10. Douglas: Big mobile front rower ala Shillington & Scott for QLD
11. Gallen: Physical Grub who is worth the odd penalty
12. Watmough: Still best backrower for NSW if injury free
13. Lewis. My Choice for NSW captain

14. Gidley: Needs to be a utility not just a replacment hooker
15. Leroyd Lahs: Big & mobile & needs time in a blue jumper
16. Heighton: Younger faster & bigger version of hindmarsh
17. Trent Merrin: Has the most potential of any young NSW forward
