After all the committees and reviews and the coach been relieved of the recruitment functions, where the hell is a review of the performance of the football department.

Remeber Coyne's call out about the poor skills of the players.

Surely we had KPIs for performance.
Its gone all quiet.

We are already talking about pre-season training.

In corporate life, the business equivalent of missing the 8, would be fully analysed and potentially changes made to whoever is steering the ship. At the Dragons, She'll be right mate!

Depends on what our KPIs are. I'm guessing they're aiming low:confused:

One of the bullshit buzz phrases of modern sport is ""High Performance Unit""- it's currently turning Australian cricket into a basket case. SGI has one too- except of course it only applies to players- not administrators or coaches.

They don't have the answers:
Recruitment
1. Widdop and Hunt or Maloney and Cronk?
2. Packer and Graham or Graham and Allgood + Latimore?
3. Dugan or ......... ?
Where did Dugan's 800k go?
Did we even try to sign Tedesco - 700k to the Roosters.

Fitness
Two years in a row we hit our straps early only to fall in a heap mid season. Forwards busted and tired.
Team Selections
McCrone at 7 all year, Mann on the bench most of the year, Lafai hot and cold, Aitken way below form. Replacing players who were not performing seemed to hard task for the coach.
Bench Management, game plans and ability to adapt to circumstances not going to plan
Probably the worst in the NRL.

OUST DOUST, Sack the coaching staff, cleanout the board and sack the under-performing management staff.

Really going to miss McCrone.

I assumed most of Duges 800 k went to Hunt. That and McCrones money would just about add up to Hunt.

Easts did not sign Tedesco for 700K. That may have been the amount they put down on the cap, but I am pretty sure that there would be something like an extra 300 to 500K on top of that with 3rd party deals.
