White Jerseys

Interesting to see the pics of SG Ball team in reversed colour jerseys (white with blue stripes) on the website.

I won't be changing from my royal blue one, but they look all right to me as a pre season / hot day option - mainly because they look like exact colour swap so still look like traditional footy jerseys, not some kind of trendy?? away jersey (Penrith - hang your heads....)

I agree. If there is going to be a second jersey that is the way to go, the complete reversal. I quite like it.

The senior team also wore the same white jerseys & blue shorts in away games vs Auckland Vulcans and Central Newcastle Knights last year, as their jerseys are also predominantly blue.

I believe it's the first time in history (after 100 years) tyhat Newtown didn't wear the all-blue jersey (apart from that farce in 2007 where Newtown were forced to wear the Roosters white jersey vs Auckland Lions because they didn't have an away jersey made).

I qute like the reverse jersey but would only wear it when it's an absolute necessity.

The white jerseys looked ok today. But I probably liked them because its the first Newtown jersey I've seen us beat you in for something like 4 bloody years.

Still agree the bluebags aren't the same with out the Blue Jersey.
