On Saturday a traditional derby will take place when the Jets host the Rabbits at 3:40pm. With Souths fielding 5 ex Jets players it is almost a reunion day and given the quality of player Souths will be fielding this should be a terrific spectacle.
They have plenty of first grade experience with Craigie,Walker,Thompson, O'Farrell, Lolohea and lots of promising players coming through it should be a great contest.
Both teams are looking for a win and Souths have been unlucky in the last few weeks. For those coming down to see traditional football and enjoy the famous BBQ and beer on the hill, who will you be bringing in a show of support for the Jets. At 2:00pm we also have the JB Cup match against last years premiers The Entrance and it would be terrific if they received great support as well they deserve it.
