Who are your favourite horses to bet on ?

I actually committed a criminal deed two weeks ago. For the first time EVER i DIDNT get on Red Oog and he blew them away for his second group 1 win at the longest odds possible for the short race . I will find it hard to live with myself after that ... i cant believe i picked those overrated hacks instead of my favourite horse of all

I have the same thing with Messiaen in Brisbane ... its a second place specialist but id hate not to be on it in a big Brisbane race. In big races Messiaen likes to kick a bit of butt ;-). IVe won soooo many quinellas because of this horse its not funny. IT ALWAYS pays well.

Infinite Grace and Shogun Lodge (RIP) used to be great quinella horses for me, but IG's slowed a bit down lately which is a shame. And i wonder whatever happened to Lord Volksraad ... if Messiaen was a second place specialist, then LV wrote the book AND cashed in on it ;-)

I like betting on battler primarily :lol: I back Titanic Jack and Strasbourg whenever they go around as my late was big fans of them

Agree on Inifinite Grace, its an unlucky horse. Grandway Shogun, Yell and Fields Of Omagh are other favourites

Stick with Red Oog OVP. He is my favourite too.

Apart from See Oog and Super Oog there will also be Doctor Oog and Miss Oog towards the end of the year.

Also Maria Julia who is Red Oogs mother might just be going to Arrowfield to breed with Redoutes Choice soon.

9/1 and 6/1 for those 2 races. 54/1 but they half it (the pricks!) when you go the same horse so you'll get 27/1 for the double.

Found that out when I back Plagiarize to win the Silver Slipper / Golden Slipper double. Was 434/1 but I got 217/1.

Yeah Macca thats way too short for me. Red Oog needs alot of luck in his runs. He might be able to win one on his day but I don't know about both.
