Who do you think will be the most improved team this season?

Every year now there are teams that go from crap one season to playoffs/superbowl the next eg Pats 2000 5-11 to 2001 Champs, Panthers 6-10 2002 to 2003 superbowl you get the picture.

Who do you think the big improvers for this season will be??

I think Detroit will be much improved and pushing for the playoffs, but the Falcons are the team that I think are going to be the big surprises and make the Superbowl (providing Vick stays healthy).

Denver. The addition of Champ Bailey and John Lynch will ensure the secondary is tight and it has always been one of the big problems for Denver. This shouldn't be a problem this year IMO. Marco Coleman also came out of retirement to suit up for the Broncos so if Plummer can get the job done, it could be a big year.

IF plummer can get the job done, massive if there.

I think it will be interesting to see how Eli and Kurt go in Giants colours, and if either one of those two click they could be a genuine improvement thread, however Im not expecting it.

Atlanta are an obvious choice as their 5-11 this season doesnt exactly show how good they can be with Vick healthy.

But my pick is probably the Redskins, obviously gaining Portis is a massive thing, but also signings like Barrow and Shaun Springs cover any potential gaps that may have surfaced in their defence, so I think all round they have improved nicely.

The Skins do this every year and never go any better. Maybe Gibbs can get more out of the team but I remember a few years back when they signed Bruce Smith and Dana Stubblefield, two of the best defensive lineman in the NFL at the time and they were still crap. Washington has an uncanny knack of turning a good player into complete shit!

I still remember Gus Frerotte headbutting the wall after scoring a touchdown. Hilarious stuff.

I think the Bengals will continue to improve and it will be interesting to see how Arizona go with Dennis Green as coach.

I feel that the Bengals are going to regress a bit this season. Arizona will be better but they still have too many holes, hopefully Green can make them play tougher and hang in games for longer.

I agree that the Bronc are going to be better but I'm not sure about Plummer though, I think they need someone better to take it to the next level.

HA Frerotte, what a tool!

Ah but Ill always like Frerotte that little more now after that magical 4 touchdown game he put on for the mighty Vikes this season when Culpepper was out.

Frerotte always does that though, comes in for a few games (whoever he is playing for at the time) and has a good one then goes to sh*t. Seriously though I could throw 4 touchdown passes for the Vikes if I had Moss catching them and with their running game.
