I think we might see some more tweaking in todays selections.
Doesn't seem to be any injuries, no SO selections.
For mine the most under performing member of the squad is Merrit.
Has done absolutely nothing & shown even less, at this stage. Does not want to get involved, does not back up the play, does not sniff out opportunities, provides zero penetration from DHR's, & he's on the easy side.
I think the logical thing to do is to promote Saleh to Simmos wing & punt Merrit.
However, Rapes has been quite rock solid in his selections & preferring not to change, in the hope of developing combinations.

Beats for R Williams

Saleh for Simmo,

Simmos a good kid He just needs some confidents under the high ball

Mcgoldrick for Merrit

Franze in the centres

That actually sounds smart if all players were in form, but I watched Franze the other night & he's just not up to it IMO.
He even got moved into the forwards when Makisi came on.

and saleh has been nothing special, in fact worse then merrit imo

merrit has done nothing spectacular but he's done nothing wrong

i think the team should change but more like...

1 peach
2 simmons
3 mcgoldrick
4 vagana
5 merrit
6 hilder
7 kimms
8 stevo
9 gibbo
10 beattie
11 nutts
12 gallen
13 bailey

14 williams
15 isemonger
16 bickerstaff
17 sully

i think thats solid

is beatts available?

It wont happen but my team would be:
Peach
Merrit
Vagana
McGoldrick
Saleh (Riek is still out for 3 weeks according to sharks.com.au)
Aitken
Noddy
Stevo
Hilder
Nutley
Lomu
Gallen
Bailey

Reserves: J Will, R Will, Newton, Sully

Punt Isemonger, Simmons, Bickerstaff

Raper on the other hand i think will drop a winger for Saleh, take 50/50 on which one. He will prob keep Gallen at 5/8 and tweak the bench a little, but what changes remain to be seen. He wont do anything too drastic.

I particularly like that move where he ran to the line & threw the ball at the opposition on the 2nd tackle. Spectacular I thought.
He has been the worst winger in the club at this stage. There are ten in front of him.
& you obviously didn't see PL the other night. Saleh was best on the feild for the Sharks.
Saved a brace of tries in a brace of minutes.

Dump Simmons and McGoldrick
Replace them with Saleh and Kent
Kent was unseen.
Simmons made two mistakes that lead to trys & has done so pretty much each week. The plus is that he is scoring tries & getting involved & looking for opportunities.
Twice the player merrit is, even with the mistakes. To call for Simmo to go before Merrit, is just silly.
& Goldy was probably the best back on the feild the other night for us, so why would you drop him?
Just silly.

Merritt and Lomu , both underperformng at this stage. Gallen must stay at 5/8 , just on his tackling alone! Gallen stiffens up the defence on the edge. The guy will be awsome in attack soon , perhapse not against the Roosters but other sdes will come to fear him.

Rieck told me on Saturday night that his hammy might be right for this round, but it sounds like he might be another week or brace...

Thats cool Jimbo you cant get a better source from the man himself. I was just going off what the official site says. I hope he does play to be honest.

BR, my question on Makisi?

BIG, FAST, STRONG. Haven't seen him do anything spectacular yet but I have been watching through two very blurry eyes of late.

Especially after your offer to play Twister with Jimbo! Are you sure you aren't Sullyfan's alias? :p
