Who had/has a more horrible style of football?

More boring/annoying to watch?

Well....we all know that the dragons have been the dominant team during the 2009 and 2010 seasons. Before that, the Storm did pretty well. Question is, who were the more horrible team to watch?

The Storm were known for grappling away in tackles and slowing down the play the ball. For some unknown reason the referees let them get away with it in almost every game. They might as well have had Hulk Hogan and the Macho Man as their front rowers

The Dragons are largely devoid of creativity, and rely on a dour defensive approach to work teams down. As last year proved, they have nothing when teams turn up the pressure a few notches

Its just a shame that teams who actually play rugby league properly (the tigers are a good example) are worn down by teams that bastardise the game

The Tigers were throwing hospital passes all night, and Benji in particular put in some terrible kicks. It might not have been spectacular, but the Dragons deserved to win.

Generally the Tigers are brilliant to watch, but where was the 'creativity' you spoke of? All they had in the opposition 20 was going side to side hoping for an overlap to appear. No chip kicks, no run arounds.... it was pretty pedestrian to be honest.

are you serial? the tigers put together some great sweeping plays across the field. the lead up to the second try was sensational. the dragons could only dream of doing things like that

look the dragons are playing a tough brand of football and good on them, but they are flat track bullies and for mine, not much fun to watch

played in the spirit of the game...pass the ball, run on the last. actually have a crack in each set of six as opposed to the drone like style that the dragons adopt

All Soward does is bomb the bloody thing 100 times a game. Wow, creative much? And NSW want him in the side? bwahahahahaha

Pass the ball - Pretty sure we do that

Run on the last - Yep ive seen us do that too.

Have a 'crack' - I dont even know what that means, you are just making stuff up now

Well at least the Storm had some of the games best and they were/are great to watch but with the Dragons there's no superstars so its just shyte watching them 1 - 17.

what is stupid about it? i eagerly await your elaboration on this dribble ridden post

how a team can score 34 points and be called boring is beyond me

how a team can be currently third on the points scored tally for the season and be called boring is beyond me.(damn some of those other teams must be really boring)

if you dont think that the defence last week against the sharks was entertaining when they passed the ball sideline to sideline and offloaded the ball constantly and the dragons kept coming to the defence in numbers again and again working for each other then you are watching the wrong game and i suggest you limit your viewing to the NYC or the super 14.

Storm are having fun with their footy because they have nothing to lose, and are illegally full of superstars. See how long it lasts next year.

NEXT!

I cant think of many teams in the comp who turn up each week with the same mental toughness and ability to grind a game and pull away in the end. Dragons do it well like they did last year..trick will be come the later rounds and semis if they can add a new string to there bow..

For the time being its working and its getting them 2 points most of the time..
