Emmit Smith was asking for a contract that he was well and truely no longer worth and so the Cowboys let him go. Its a shame when a players ego gets in the way of them finishing out their career with their club.

Unfortunately that seems the mentality over there for many quality players....arizona should be a nice atmosphere change for him! lol

As a die hard Philadelphia fan I am hoping this will be the year for them to get over the line.

But then again I was sure at the start of last year they would win so bleh!

I`d love to say My beloved Green Bay Packers but.... either the Indianapolis Colts or Kansas City Chiefs I really do think they`ll be the two stand out teams by seasons end.

I'm a Dolphins fan but their passing game seems to have gotten worse so look for another December collapse as the Running game and defence wears down.
For mine Denver Vs Colts AFC championship Colts to win
Vikes Vs Bucs in the NFC Vikes to win

Colts to beat the Vikes 38-35 in the Superbowl.

I wouldnt say that the dolphins passing game is in a bad shape at all.

For some reason nearlly everyone thinks that Jay Fiedler is not up to scratch, I tell you what, he is the most ignored and underrated QB going round! His last game against the Bills was not anything great by any means but the Bills have a very good defensive secondary and make it hard for any QB to pass on. The more Ricky Williams runs that ball, the more frequently Randy McMichael is left unmarked on passing plays and that is a great combination right there! Then when Chambers gets his confidence up to 100% the dolphins have their long range pass set as well.

The Dolphins will be in the superbowl this year, the more I think about it the more sure I become.

Actually I like Jay Fiedler and Brian Griese. It's the wide recievers I'm not convinced about. Apart from Chambers and McMicheal, it seems to drop off from their. I hope Gadsden rejoins the team when it is possible to do so.

Hell GO GREEN BAY, they prooved to me in the wee hours of this AM to me while watching them shut down Seattle bigtime, with BIG PLAYS ALL ROUND, Farve and Green were great as too were Darren Sharper on defence and Donald Driver made some clutch plays. Kansas City with their 24-23 win over Denver they are still my favs however to go all the way.

IM BACK!

boy has this thread changed. i see while i was away someone decided to try and slander the great oakland name. hey kurt faulk how-ya-doin?

your not a rams fan are u??? tisk tisk. i can undersatnd y u would be out to bag out other teams (including oakland). u must get teased alot for being a rams fan. but i dont take pride on making hurtful comments on other teams based on absolutly no factual information. i know enough about football to know that no team is perfect and i can admit that oakland have blown one of there best chances at a superbowl victory, one they might not see again for a while. but even though i know oakland isnt the best team, there is no denying the fact that oakland beat st. louis 7 to 6 in the pre-season. so much for: "oakland sucks"
