Sterling or Lockyer or both.

It goes without saying that Craig Gower and Remy are inducted before them.

Has to be Proven

He played in finals football in for fifteen consecutive seasons from 1951. His appearance in eleven Grand Finals is an Australian rugby league record. His victory statistic of ten consecutive first-grade premierships is a world record in rugby league and arguably a world class achievement in top-grade team sport.

14 Test and 2 World Cup cups

Captain/coach 4 premierships. 66-2-13

Career as coach 123-8-49 for win percentage of 68% (Bennett at 62%).

With any luck the NRL will have grown enough of a pair to stop letting news ltd run its most prestigious awards before another immortal is named

Remi Casty is an obvious possibility. However in 2016 he may be outshone by Benjamin Garcia, who will be in the running for the Dally M second row forward medal.

They should either retire this concept at 8 or rebrand the HoF as Immortals to include all people already inducted.

This really takes away from the HoF which should have more emphasis placed on it.

Getting silly - Johns was too soon imo, and several on the list achieved much more than he did.

I prefer a Hall of Fame - keeping things exclusive, but then people like Sterling, who for some reason it seems will never be an 'immortal' would be a lock - along the truly great players - the immortal concept is about selling magazines, if they broadened it, and took a look at the voting approach baseball uses, they could come up with something special - a residence/museum, with plaques, history...

Bingo . . . take the game's history away from mercenary media manipulation and create credible archives

I find it difficult to select one person every so often for a place in a small group like the immortals when plenty on that list achieved a lot both on and off the field for rugby league. It's too slow, cumbersome and plenty will miss out or not be considered for some time.

At least with a HoF it can have regular inductees that won't have such a god like status bestowed upon them. Let us celebrate the quality players of our game without having to elevate one or two every so often.

Provan.

Players should be retired for more than a few years before awarding it. Lockyer and Thurston can wait.
