who sings 'before to long' song on JJJ

A song has been playing on the J's recently and I cant get he name or find it through a google search.

The lyrics in the chorus I remember are 'before to long' and I would guess it is the name of the song.

But he bursts into 'have you ever thought of waking up'

Its a rock song with a male singer.

Any ideas?
