Are they serious ?

Jamie Buhrer for NSW ?

No wonder NSW always lose. Bob Fulton is a disgrace and should have been sacked years ago.

His stupid influence on this team and disgraceful selections over the years (ie ENNIS) has resulted in us getting pumped year in year out.

Bob Fulton you are a disgrace.

Ricky Stuart makes the selections I thought? I know Bozo "offers advice" but the final decision is Stuarts.

Bretto true but Fultons a persuasive merkin and can take a steaming-pile of dog shit and sell it up as the next Paul Gallen. He's got that much mongrel and manly love.

I heard on the radio today up this way, that Matt Gillett was in line for a test spot until the whole Tamou thing came about. Stuart wanted Tamou for NSW so he was selected for Australia ahead of Gillett.

I think Stuart and Fulton have some crazy man love business going on.

Not officially.

The coach is given the team the selectors choose.

But of course behind close doors its a different story.

I think Bozo has them contractually bound to choose one Manly player of his liking every year.

Buhrer shouldnt be picked but he isn't a bad player like some suggest.

Also the Fulton innuendo is a bit off the mark. Why is it guys like kite (2008), orford, watmough, Brett Stewart have all been overlooked when in peak form for lesser players?
The selections of wolfman, king, perry do baffle me but looking back there werent many better options.

Was Gillett going to be picked as a front rower?

Doesn't really make sense that Tamou was picked "instead" of Gillett.

Buhrer is fine but his team mate, Watmough, is a much better player and should have his spot (or Creaghs, and we can pick an actual prop for Buhrer).

Gillett was going to play up front?

Does Buhrer even have a starting spot or make the 17 for his team every week? wtf is this

He's guaranteed a spot in his team every week... he's one of the best youngsters in the game. Don't agree with his selection at utility but it shouldn't take away from how good a prospect he is.

Fair enough but this reeks of a Jamal Idris/Josh Morris dud bench selection.

You have to look at what he brings apart from covering for injuries, he's not particularly fast or massively strong.
He has some decent skills but I think he mostly a bit part player.
With Farah playing 80 mins, he has no real use other than to fill the left field bolter quota for the year.
Hinchcliffe was the man for the job.

seriously wade graham does everything buhrer does but better and he could also fill in at hooker if needed.

buhrer's a good player. i dont think he's ready for origin yet and i can see him being lost out there but if he isnt scarred by the experience he can really kick on from this.

however stuart the master coach has shown that he'll play healthy front rowers (galloway) for 9 mins so i dont thuink buhrer will see much time barring injuries. tony williams wont play big munutes either, so he's going to expect a lot of his forwards to play a lot of minutes
