i think catalans they have a strong squad with new players like dallas johnson, setaimata sa, chris walker they have probably the best defence in super league and if they can stay controlled and not give too many penalties away this year i think they can go all the way

I can still see St Helens and Leeds dominating the competition again. Warrington I think could give a real shake, but I think it will be Leeds vs Saints again, but I think Saints can finally put them to the sword this year.

Who'd think at the beginning of the season that come round 8 Leeds and Crusaders would be separated only by point difference.

Not many but as quick as the comp is evening up I have only seen 1 game this year that gets anywhere near the intensity and quality of a Leeds Saints game and that was the Wigan/Wire one. Even then though it still fell short. I can realistically see Leeds stepping up a gear now we have got a few players back and maybe finish 3rd or 4th. From there Leeds and Saints will be too strong in the finals and it will once again be us 2.

A sign of this is St Helens have only had a full team available for tge last 2 weeks and have beaten 2 of the teams fancied to topple us this year quite comfortably. I reckon they will beat Wigan on Fri too. The only difference now is that if we get a few injuries then the other teams are as strong where in previous years we would still be the better teams.

Oh, forgot to say.

Wigan are looking good but they make a lot of mistakes. In a tight semi finals game where the defences are on top I can see thier style failing.
